MARTIN Michael "Shane" Martin, age 36 of Macclenny, Florida passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 7, 1969 in Okeechobee, Florida. Shane was raised in Starke and has lived in Baker County for the last 4 years. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons in Starke. He worked as a correctional officer for Union Correctional Institute for 18 years prior to becoming an EMT. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is predeceased by one brother; Donald Martin and his brother-in-law; Judson Walker. Family members include his loving wife; Tammy Walker Martin, his mother Glenda J. Martin-Moore (Gary), his father; Donald W. Martin; his children; Joshua Martin, Wesley Crawford, Alyssa Crawford, Cassie Martin and Julie Ann Martin; Maternal Grandmother; Vera Suggs; Maternal Grandfather; Iottis Adams; Paternal Grandfather; Donald J. Martin; mother-in-law; Glenna Fraser; father-in-law; Wayne Walker, sister-in-law Tanya Shadd, two nieces,Kara Dupree and Blair Shadd, and many dear and close friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Christian Fellowship Temple 251 W. Ohio Ave. in Macclenny with Pastors Timmy and David Thomas officiating with the Department of Corrections Honor Guard serving as pallbearers. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
