Michael Lee Smith, 36, of Marianna died, Feb. 18, 2010 in Marianna. Born in San Bernando, CA. He was a former resident of AR. and had resided in Jackson County for the past 7 years where he was employed as a meat cutter with Smith Grocery. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Daniel Odom. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Smith of Marianna; two sons, Chris Massey and finace' Tonya Smith and Bobby Humphrey all of Bonifay; one daughter, Samantha Ashmead of Cottondale; his father and step-mother, Mac and Debi Odom of Marianna; mother and step-father Vikki and Tom Miller of Worland WY.; two brothers Jason Odom and finace' Jessie Nobles of Callaway, Michael Lee McLendon of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Donna Harrelson and husband David of Gautier, Ms.; three grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Feb. 26, 2010 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Glen Whiddon officiating. Memorization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
