Michael Lee Johnson, 57, Seymour, passed away at 5:27 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.Michael graduated from Seymour High School in 1972. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran. He worked as a production tech at Amoco-Silgan for 27 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to play guitar and harmonica. His love of singing and playing brought joy to many and he played with four bands over the years. He was known for the smiles he brought to others by telling jokes and lifting the spirits of those around him.Born July 3, 1954, in Seymour, he was the son of Wyatt Amos and Doris Louise Keck Johnson. He was married to Deborah Kay White in Columbus on Jan. 22, 1996.Survivors include his wife, Debbie; four children, Kerri Beth (Justin) Reynolds, Chris (Angela) Miller, Jason (Jennifer) Miller and Stacy Greathouse; his mother, Doris (Kenneth) Johnson; sisters, Rebecca (David) Stamper, Brenda Pennie and Cindy (Brian) Lanning; brothers, Richard "Heavy" (Kristan) Johnson and Shawn (Tracie) Johnson; six grandchildren, Megan and Olivia Reynolds, Nathan and Colin Greathouse and Zakary and Zaden Miller; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Wyatt A. Johnson; brothers, Donald R. Johnson and Kenneth W. "Sandy" Johnson Jr.; and granddaughter, Savanna Lynn Johnson-Carpenter.The Rev.
