Memorial services for Michael Glynn Mitchell age 23 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 22 2004 from the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Paul Clayton officiating. A private committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 22 2004 at Ridgecrest Cemetery. Michael died Sunday in Auburn AL. He was born in Jackson TN on August 20 1980 the son of Thomas R. Mitchell and Melinda Glynn whom survive. He was a 1999 graduate of Jackson Christian School where he played football and was a senior at Auburn University majoring in public relations. He was a page with the Alabama Senate and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jackson. Other than his parents he is survived by a brother Hunter Mitchell of Thibodaux LA; his maternal grandmother Sunny Glynn of Jackson and his paternal grandmother Mary Ann Mitchell of Jackson; two aunts Elizabeth Littleton and husband Dowe of Montgomery AL and Kathy Wood and husband Bob of Jackson; two cousins Katherine and John Riddle of Alexandria VA; and a very special friend Ashley Walhaug of Auburn AL. He was preceded in death by an uncle Michael Glynn III his maternal grandfather Michael Glynn and his paternal grandfather L.R. Mitchell Pallbearers to serve are Hunter Mitchell Cody Ridgeway Ry Ridgeway Alan Coker Zach Doyle Cole Jacobus Jeremy Warmath Trey Kirk John Riddle Jason Mitchell Henry Mitchell Ryan Latham Jason Christopher Chris MacMahan Peter Vickery Mike Russell and Chris Wright.
