Michael E. Age 41, of 108 S. College Ave, Montour Falls, NY, died Saturday, October 4, 2003, at Schuyler Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Friends are invited to call Tuesday, October 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, Watkins Glen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, with burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his childrens' educational funds, c/o May Anne Narosky, 435 Sharr Ave., Elmira, NY 14904. Michael was survived by his wife of 15 years, Helen; children, Eric and Samantha; father and step-mother, Bruce and Janet Davis of Monroeton, PA; mother, Joyce Amisano of Montour Falls, and step-father, Albert Amisano of Elmira; sisters, Loren Brown of Burdett, NY, and Randee (John) Longo of Saratoga Springs, NY; step-brother, David (Penny) Davis; and half-brother, Bradley (Danielle) Davis; step-sisters, Lisa (Frank) Weiss, Robin (Rick) Campbell; father-in-law, Ralph Butler, brothers and sisters-in-law, Burt (Lisa) Butler, Mark Butler, Jack (Mary Anne) Narosky, Donald (Deb) Butler; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen. He worked for Pepsi-Cola Bottling in Elmira for 25 years. He was serving on the Odessa-Montour School Board, and was a member of the Montour Falls Fire Dept. from 1985-1996, having served as assistant fire chief. Michael also helped coach youth basketball at OMCS, and coached for C.V.S.A. soccer.
