He is survived by his siblings, Kathleen (Kenneth) Bartholomew, Timothy Curtin, and Maureen "Missa" Matte; his goddaughters, Erin (Donald) Telesca and Sarah Matte; and his other nieces and nephews, Katie (Earle) Killius, Kristy (Steve) Schulenberg, Kevin Curtin, Alison Curtin and Brian Matte; Mary Beth Curtin; 8 great-nieces and nephews. Michael worked for the Rochester City School District for 41 years, was a lifelong NY Giants and Notre Dame football fan, and loved NY City, where he traveled often.Friends may call Tuesday, April 1st, from 9-11 AM at the Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English and Latta). Funeral Mass immediately following at 11:30 at Holy Cross Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital.
