She was a native of South Carolina and lived in Savannah most of her life until moving to Willingboro seven years ago. She was a member of New Testament Missionary Outreach Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters, Ernestine Lawton (Isaiah), Gloria Owens (Marion) and Florence Milton all of Savannah, GA and Ann Palmer of Willingboro, NJ; one son, Larry Melvin Jones of Savannah, GA; three sisters, Elease Golden of Savannah, GA, Blanche Shaw of Lumberton, NC and Peggy Fordham of Florida; three brothers, Matthew Jones and George Jones both of Savannah, GA and Allen Jones of Florida; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at New Testament Missionary Outreach Ministry, 102 Waynesboro Rd. (Ogeechee Farms and Burroughs Community). Entombment: Forest Lawn M emory Gardens.
