CARTER, May Catherine On Tuesday, January 28, 2003 Mrs. May Carter of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 103 years. She is survived by her loving family, two children Ernest (Pearl) Carter and Colin (Darlene) Carter all of Edmonton; one daughter-in-law Stephania Carter of Edmonton; one sister Rena (Carl) Schielke of Red Deer, Alberta; one sister-in-law Doris Fenton of Irma, Alberta; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene in 1977; three children Keith in 1936, Allison in 1977, Clarence in 1978; as well as three brothers and two sisters. A Funeral Service for the late Mrs. May Carter will be conducted on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 12 Noon from the Grace United Church, Wainwright with Reverend Ron Fletcher M. Div. officiating. Interment will take place at the Irma Cemetery, Irma on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Grace United Church Building Fund.
