Miller, Mavis ArleneJan. 31, 1930 - May 1, 2008Mavis Arlene Miller, 78, Sarasota, formerly of Warsaw, Ind., died May 1, 2008.Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota. Services will be held after the visitation at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota. Survivors include her sons Terry of Panama City and Tracy of Daphne, Ala.; daughter, Tanya Rae Harrison of Sarasota; brother, Dale Long of Bradenton; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.She retired after a very successful career as a real estate broker/agent with Florida Sun Realty. Mavis has called Sarasota home for the last 43 years. She worked hard instilling a great work ethic in her children, but she also taught them to enjoy life and the people around them. To Mavis, family was all-important, especially her grandchildren. She always reserved a special place in her heart for them and each was rewarded with a heartwarming smile and a roomful of sunshine and laughter.
