LEMIEUX, Maurice J., 85, of Sun City Center, died December 29, 2004 as the result of an accident. He was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada and moved to Lawrence, MA with his family. He served in communications for the US Navy for twenty years, through WWII and the Korean War. Upon his discharge, he was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration. He moved to Sun City Center in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lemieux; two sons Raymond (Kathy) Lemieux, George (Rebecca) Lemieux; daughter Eveline (Scott) Gale; four sisters, Lucille Dolan, Lorraine Koza, Gisele Matheson and Rita Parent; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a life member of the Fleet Reserve Assoc, Military Order of the Cootie, VFW, DAV, Civilian Conservation Corps, NARFE, Knights of Columbus, member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Winnebago Club. Mass of the Resurrection was held January 14, 2005 at Prince of Peace Church. Interment with military honors was at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
