Maureen Flanagan, of Upper Nyack died on Good Friday, April 13, 2001. She was 52. Born on September 23, 1948 in Harrington Park, NJ to Robert W. and Eileen B. Flint. Mrs. Flanagan graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan, NJ in 1966. She was employed by Orange and Rockland Utilities from 1968 until 1980. She lived in Upper Nyack since 1983. Mrs. Flanagan was an active member of the Nyack Public Schools P.T.A. and was very active with her two sons in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was an active member of St. Ann's R.C. Church in Nyack. Maureen is survived by her husband James J. Flanagan. Two sons, Matthew and Scott, as well as 2 brothers, Jeffery and Robert Flint and one sister Sharon Hockenbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2001 at 9 AM at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Nyack, NY. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Westwood, NJ. Visiting hours are scheduled for Wednesday, April 18, 2001 from 6 to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc., in Nyack, NY.
