MOORE, Mrs. Mattie Chambliss, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Monday, October 22, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., from Mt. Calvary Missionary Christian Church, Tuskegee Inst., AL. Rev. K. G. Jones, pastor, Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Ashdale Cemetery, Tuskegee, AL. McKenzie's Funeral Home staff directing. Survivors include: five children; Willie E. (Gertwyl) Moore, Carolyn (Jesse) Gray, Janice (James) Adams, Virginia (Rodney) Ellis, and Sharon Moore (John) Grimes; one brother, Comer D. Chambliss; three sisters, Matilda Bates, Livonia Dallas and Era Arrington; one sister-in-law, Gladys Chambliss; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 2:00-6:00 p.m., at McKenzie's Funeral Home.
