JONES Mattie Mae Jones, 90, entered into heavenly rest on Nov. 14, 2007. She was a long time active member of American Legion Post 129 and the Le Femme. She also belonged to V.F.W. 3270 and Elks. She is survived by son, Fred Howell; daughters Shirley (Ralph) Stecker and Georgia (Paul) Papevies; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family will welcome friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, Nov. 16th at BEACHES CHAPEL BY HARDAGE- GIDDENS, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, 32250 (904-249-2474).
