CURL, Mattie L., 90, of Brandon, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2002. Mattie moved to Florida 65 years ago from Georgia and was Baptist by faith. She was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School. She is survived by daughters, Joyce and Wyndall Skipper of Brandon, Frances and Charles Murphy of Mims, Fla., Irma and Winston Higgs of Locust Grove, Ga. and Marcia Curl of Seffner; sister, Maybelle Williamson of Lyons, Ga.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
