Marybelle J. Victry-James MADISON - Marybelle Joyce Victry-James, 92, a retired educator, died Thursday, April 14, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Sumpter James II. The service will be at 1 p.m. EDT Thursday at Mount Zion AME Church No. 1, with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the church, with sorority rites at 6 p.m. Ganzy Funeral Home (850- 973-3267) is handling arrangements.She was a county commissioner and community leader of Madison County and was a member of the Alpha IOTA Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She also was a member of Mount Zion AME Church No. 1. Other survivors include four children, Melba James McCarty, Sumpter James III, Stanley James and Sharon James Postell; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
