Mary Wood Davis, 80, Sarasota, died Nov. 27, 2002. She was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Knoxville, Tenn., and came to Sarasota in 1984 from Maryville, Tenn. She was a homemaker and a member of Church at the Barn. Survivors include her husband, Lester; a son, Jim Watson of Sarasota; two sisters; a brother; and seven grandchildren. No visitation is scheduled. Burial will be Friday in Old Myakka Cemetery. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, is in charge.
