Mary Wilson, née en 1917, fille de James et Ruth-Sullivan, est décédée le 22 février 2002 à l'âge de 85 ans.
Mary Elizabeth Wilson, 85, formerly of 6326 Highway 101, died Feb. 22, 2002, at Laurel Baye Health Care Center in Greenville. A native of Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Ruth Sullivan Wilson. She was retired as a dietician from Barberton General Hospital, Barberton, Ohio. She was well known for her cooking skills, and in 1987 won first place in the S.C. Beef Cook-off held in Anderson. She was a member of the Emma Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by a brother, James F. Wilson of Woodruff; a sister, Derlee Wilson Alkeme of Chula Vista, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Roger Harrison of Woodbridge, Conn., a special friend who was like a grandson to Miss Wilson. Memorial services will be held today, Feb. 24, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Emma Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, conducted by the Revs. Robert Boggs and Larry Wilson and Dr. L.D. Jordon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Emma Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 271, Woodruff, SC 29388. - Forest Hills Funeral Home, Woodruff, S.C.
