Cleaning ServiceLAKELAND -- Mrs. Mary Brown Williams of Lakeland died of heart failure Jan. 21, 2003, in Lakeland. She was 69.Born in Sparta, Ga., she came to Lakeland from Georgia 48 years ago. She owned her own cleaning service, Mary Gladys' Cleaning Service.Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons, Dr. Edward J. Williams, Lakeland, George Williams; daughters, Charlotte Davis, Bertha Gordon, Barbara Mackey, Orlando, Rachel Williams, Dallas, Mattie Mills, Lakeland; sisters, Elnora Palmer, Cleveland, Ohio, Elizabeth Dotson, Newark, N.J., Annie B. Propsp, Chicago, Susie Campbell, Canton, Ohio, Alma Carter, California; brothers, the Rev. Nathaniel Brown, Peter Brown, both of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Coney Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Greater Refuge Church of Our Lord. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
