October 14, 2007 Mary W. Whitney, 75, of Bernhards Bay, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, Mary had lived in Bernhards Bay for the last 57 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post #858 Auxiliary in Cleveland. Mary retired in 1996 as a school bus driver with the Central Square School District after 20 years of service. Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles T. Sr.; three sons, Michael (Norma), Charles T. Jr. (Linda), both of Constantia, and E. John (Sherry), of Bernhards Bay; two daughters, Theresa (Donald) Czysz of Willow Spring, NC, and Karen (John) Donahue of Oswego; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marion Haynes of Constantia. She was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Vincent Whitney, and a brother, Charles Kilmore. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 S. Main St., Central Square.
