Mary Virginia 'Ginny' O'Brien Jones WARETOWN - Mary Virginia "Ginny" O'Brien Jones, 81, of Ocean County passed away at home on Monday, March 11, 2013, with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, Ginny lived most of her life in West Trenton before permanently moving to her Shore home in Waretown, NJ. Ginny was a senior lab technician for the State of New Jersey Department of Agriculture (Division of Animal Health), where she retired after more than three decades of service. Mary was a graduate of Cathedral High School-class of 1949, a member of its alumni association, and attended the St. Francis School of Nursing. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family at the Jersey Shore. Daughter of the late John R. and Sarah Bartley O'Brien and wife of the late George Robert Jones, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Brian and Laurie B. Jones of Martinsburg, WV; one daughter, Mary Patricia Jones of Princeton; four grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Sara, Sean; several cousins, including James Higham, Dolores Higham, Katherine Geller; one brother-in-law, James F. Jones of Langhorne, PA, and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Rd., West Trenton, N.J. 08628. Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery, Scotch Rd. in Ewing. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
