FREEMAN, MARY V. (VI), 80, of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away March 7, 2006, with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James J. Freeman. Survivors include her six children; Kathy Peyton, Betty Cleaves, James Freeman, Joan Skafidas, Peggy Freeman, and Mary Smith; her siblings, Loretta Burns, Edward Hardiman, and Florence Lighter; 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Her funeral was held at St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church in Richmond with burial in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
