ALBANY Mary V. Davis, 82, died Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital after a short illness. Born in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Genevieve Going Burton. She was a self-employed floral designer in the Capital District for many years. Her husband, Charles A. Davis, predeceased her. She was the mother of Bruce J. Davis of Schenectady, Alan F. Davis of Wichita, Kan., Larry M. Davis of Cottonwood Falls, Kan. and Charles A. Davis Jr. of Union City, Calif.; sister of the late Thomas J. Burton; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, Albany where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no public calling hours. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery Mausoleum.
