Mary Thompson Lee, 97, died June 6, 2009. She was born in Washington, D.C., and lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from Camp Springs, Md. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Vero Beach. Survivors include her daughter, Norma J. Martin of Vero Beach; son, Edward M. Thompson of Naples; sisters, Bertha West of Dallas and Katherine Williams of Chicago; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Custis Carter Lee; daughter, Barbara J. Lee; and brother, George Anderson. Memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. June 20 at First Baptist Church, Vero Beach, with inurnment to follow in the church memorial garden. Arrangements are by Thomas S.
