MORRELL, Mary Theresa Services celebrating Mary Theresa's life were held Wednesday, March 26, 2008. A prayer service, led by Father Thomas O'Brien, was held at McInerny Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. At this time, grandsons, Daniel Maloney and Patrick Dailey, shared memories of their grandmother. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church with Father O'Brien presiding, Father Christopher Linsler and Father Walter Wainwright concelebrating. In honor of her years as a member of St. Charles Altar and Rosary, current members formed an honor guard as her casket was brought into and out of the church. Mary Theresa's children, Dianne Maloney, Bill Morrell, and Marianne Dailey placed the funeral pall on her casket, with her sister Florence Hubert placing the crucifix. A St. Charles sash from the Altar and Rosary was also placed on Mary Theresa's casket. Readings were given by grandson Mike Maloney, and great-granddaughter Amanda Paribello. Father Wainwright read the gospel and Father O'Brien delivered the homily. Prayers of the Faithful were led by granddaughter Maria Maloney. Dianne, Bill, and Marianne presented the offertory gifts, along with a symbolic gift of rosary beads for their mother's devotion to the rosary. Eucharistic ministers were grandchildren, Tina Maloney and Maria Maloney. Remarks of remembrance were given by granddaughter Tina Maloney. Grandson Tom Morrell read a letter to Grandma from granddaughter Alise Morrell Sinclair who currently resides in York, England. Music was led by organist Frances McLaren and soloist Jack Keefe. Committal prayers and interment followed at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Grandsons, Mike Maloney, Daniel Maloney, Thomas Morrell, Joseph Morrell, Christopher Dailey, and Patrick Dailey served as pallbearers. A luncheon was held at St. Charles Borromeo parish hall following the graveside service.
