TODD (HOOK) MARY I. - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Todd, Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask. announce her passing on June 6, 2008 in the Balcarres Integrated Care Centre. With a smile, she is rejoining her beloved husband Frank Todd, her sons Gerald and Donald Todd, daughter and sonin-law, Grace and William (Bill) Janes, grandson Todd Bushko, her mom and dad, Charles and Grace Hook, brother John Hook and sister and brother-in-law Anne and Norman Perkins. Left to mourn her passing are daughters: Doreen (Ray) Zielke and Marybelle (Carl) Bushko and daughter-inlaw, Pat Todd. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Murray (Iris) Todd, Kelly (Kathy) Todd, Janet (Jim) Breti, Grant Janes, Todd (Chantal) Zielke, Carla (Allan) Constant and Curt (Jacqueline) Bushko. She will be remembered by great grandchildren, Jennifer and Dustin Todd, Amy, Brooke and Nathan Breti, Stephanie Janes, Meagan and Lindsay Constant and Caroline Feasby. Also surviving are brothers, Gordon (Doreen) Hook, Frank (Norma) Hook, sister Evelyn (David) Fleming; sister-inlaw Delores Hook and many nieces, nephews and relatives. Born in the Lipton District July 9, 1920 Mom attended Hayward School then met her one and only love. Frank and Mary were married November 22, 1939 and spent many happy years together farming in the Lipton District. In her later years, Mom moved to Fort Qu'Appelle where she lived until her passing. Mom enjoyed the life of a homemaker, working on the farm, sewing, preserving and taking care of everyone's needs. Later in life, she spent endless hours creating oil paintings and working with numerous kinds of art and needlework. Mom was a member and president of the Lipton United Church Women's organization. Mom's strong devotion to her Lord carried her through all the trying times. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary Ellen Kitchen officiating. In accordance with Mom's wishes, she will be placed with our Dad in Lipton Memorial Gardens. Floral tributes are gratefully declined, contributions in Mom's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd. Ave., Regina, Sask. S4R 1A6.
