Mary Theresa (Ducey) Davis, a homemaker and Day Care provider, died on Sunday April 18, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth following a brief illness. She was 65 years of age. Born in Winthrop, she was raised and educated in East Boston and had lived in North Weymouth for 44 years. Mary was trained in early child development and had worked for South Shore Day Care for the past 25 years. She was active in her neighborhood and church communities and participated in support of Right to Life and Friends of the Unborn. Beloved wife of 45 years to Charles Gerard Jerry Davis. Loving and devoted mother of Renee M. Egan married to Vernon of Scituate, Michelle J. Wolf of Sandwich, Charlene D. Joyce married Billy of Hingham and Jessica D. Huettner married to Kirk of LaQuinta, CA. Loving sister of Joan Guidaboni and Loretta Long both of NH, Gail Ducey of Revere and the late Barbara Zelandi of E.Boston. Proud Nana to Leah, Nick, Rebecca, Bridget, Rose, Catherine and Hilary. Funeral was from the North Weymouth, McDonald Funeral Home, at 40 Sea St. (off Rte 3A at Bicknell Sq) Friday, April 23, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in the St. Jeromes Church at 10 and burial in the Fairmount Cemetery, E. Weymouth.
