Mary Swindell - Savannah, GA - Mary Mercer Swindell passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. Born in Wayne County, GA, Mary Swindell was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Mercer; her mother, Leila Abbott Mercer; and her son, Henry Deron Swindell. She was a member of Eastern Star and of Windsor Baptist Church of Savannah, GA. She is survived by her son, Gerald Royce Swindell (Kathy) of Merritt Island, FL; her grandson, Justin Royce Swindell of Savannah, GA; her granddaughter, Jordan Leigh Murns (Josh); her great-granddaughter, Samantha Ann Murns of Savannah; her sister, Corine DeLoach of Jessup, GA; nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 1, 2009, at 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Windsor Forest Baptist Church with The Reverend Rick West officiating.
