->Martin, Mary SusanMary Susan Martin, 58, of Greene, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Nichols; and a step-sister, Brenda Stout. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Philip Martin, Jr., Greene; daughter, Stephanie (Craig) Malozzi, Hope Mills, NC; son, Joel Martin, State College, PA; mother and step-father, Beverly and Robert Sternbergh, Greene; sisters, Linda (Erwin) Beardsley, Whitney Point, Tamara (Phil) Mariotti, Utica; stepsisters, Bonnie Hoag, Atlanta, GA, Cindy (Jerry) Werchulok, Atlanta, GA; in-laws, Philip and Isabelle Martin, Greene; sister-in-law, Susan (Jim) Porter, Greene, brother-in-law, Daniel (Anita) Martin, Owego; uncle, George Kelley, DeRuyter; aunt, Dorothy Kelley, Homer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sue was a member of Zion Episcopal Church, Greene. She was a school teacher at Greene Central School for 32 years, retiring in 2010. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed her children and family. Sue enjoyed spending time with her numerous school friends and horse friends. She was especially fond of her quarter horse, J.R. A private service will be held at the request of the family.
