Crawford - Mrs. Mary Sue Smith, age 83, of Crawford, Ga., died October 2, 2004. She was the daughter of the late James and Ollie Lee Whiten Cheek. Mrs. Smith is survived by sons, Harold Powell, Danielsville, Ga.; Merle Powell, Hull, Ga.; Donald Powell and Ronnie Smith, both of Crawford, Ga.; daughters, Myrtie Cowart, Hoschton, Ga.; Barbara Farmer, Monroe, Ga.; and Rhonda Kaye Smith, Crawford, Ga.; sisters, Edna Graham, Crawford, Ga.; and Bonnie Brown, Elberton, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2004 at the Edwards Baptist Church in Crawford, Ga. with Rev. Jamie Doster and Rev. Leon McNabb officiating.
