Stephens, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Joe M. and Thelma Robinson Johnson. She retired from Carolina Blouse and attended Grove Station Baptist Church in Piedmont where she was a faithful member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class.She is survived by her brother, Floyd L. Johnson of the home; a sister-in-law, Janice Johnson of Piedmont; her niece and nephews, whom she considered "her children," Steve Johnson (Pam), of Mobile, AL, Jerry Johnson (Frankie), of Anderson, Tammy Buchanan (Bobby), of Goodview, VA, Rick Boggs (Lynn), of Irmo, Bill Boggs (Pam), of Columbia, Mike Boggs, of Yorktown, VA, and Angie Bell (Shawn), of Easley; many great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; friends; and her beloved dog, Priss.She was predeceased by a brother, Billy Joe Johnson; and a sister, Betty Jean Boggs.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Grove Station Baptist Church with burial following at the church cemetery.Family members are at their respective homes.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grove Station Baptist Church, 640 Piedmont Highway, Piedmont, SC 29673.
