She was a resident of Canton for the past five years, co-owner of Mountain Hart Retirement and a member of Liberty Baptist Church on Spring Creek.Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron C. and Beaulah Waldroup Stamey; daughter, Robin Lynn Allen. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, James "Terry" Allen; sons, Tony (Wendy), Rodney (Brandy) and Mark (Shannon) Allen; sisters, Juanita (Frank) Bradley and Betty Messer; brother, Carroll (Tina) Stamey; grandchildren, Adam, Kayla, Darin, Michael Anthony, Shelby Lynn, Brandi, Jason, Allyce, Sydney, Trysten; great-grandchildren, Madison and Kamdyn; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Liberty Baptist Church with the Reverend Greg Warren and Bill Ponder officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. www.MadisonFH.com
