HomemakerFORT WORTH, Texas -- Mrs. Mary E. Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas, a native of Plant City, died of complications of surgery Tuesday (June 13, 2006) in Fort Worth. She was 87.Born in Plant City on May 29, 1919, she moved to Fort Worth from here in 2004. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Highlands Baptist Church.Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Rogers. She is survived by her son, Charles Rogers, Arlington, Texas; daughter, Robyn Schinabeck, Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Wilva McDaniel, Orlando; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Lakeland Funeral Home. Services will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Universal Health Services Hospice, 1208 Country Club Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76112.
