MARY RITA SMITH (NEE GERMANN) MERRILLVILLE, IN Mary Rita Smith, age 86, of Merrillville, IN passed away November 12, 2013. She is survived by three children: Rachelle Flores, Bryan ( fiancee Mary) Smith, Kevin (Anastasia) Smith; three grandchildren: Austin, Eric, Kyle; one great granddaughter, Astella; five brothers. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and son, Mark. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. (1/2 mile south of US 30), Schererville, IN. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM (time of services) at the funeral home. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
