THOMPSON, MARY RENEE, "NÉNÉ," 73, of Shively, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Mary Greenwell and retired from the Jefferson County Clerk's office. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.G. Thompson, and her siblings, Becky, Martha, Bill and Jimmy. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Edelen and Brent Adams and Amy Thompson and Chip Summers; her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Brenda Thompson and Larry, Rich and Jeff Thompson; sisters, Barbara Houston and Kathy Phillips; brothers, Eddie, Richard and Harry Greenwell; grandchildren, Chris, Danny, Mandi, Aaron, John, Matt, Thompson and Holden; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jack. A celebration of NéNé's life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, with interment in Lebanon, (KY) National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
