ALBANY Mary Reedy Lee, 82, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Wilhelmina Weiss Reedy. Mary worked with her late husband, Harry E. Lee, Jr., in the family businesses, including 288 Lark, Reedy's Tavern and Reedy's Roofing. She was a devoted and longtime member and past president of the Joseph E. Zologa American Legion Post 1520 Ladies Auxiliary. Mary also was a member of the American Legion 8 & 40 Salon 121 and the Polish American Citizens Club. She was a longtime volunteer at the VA Hospital and communicant of St. Margaret Mary's Church, Albany. As important as her involvement in the community was to Mary, her children, grandchildren and family were the most important things in her life. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Lee, Jr.; mother of Col. Harry E. Lee, III (Ret) and his wife Susan of Virginia Beach, Va., Joseph Lee, Sharon Lee of Slingerlands and Kevin Lee and his wife Maureen of Clifton Park; dear grandmother of Jennifer Weaver, Harry Lee, IV, Conor Lee, Joseph Lee, Jr. (Fran), Michael Lee, Mary Hancox (Ryan), Andrea, Kathleen, Brayton and Justin Morehouse, Brooke, Kevin, Jr. and Cody Lee; dear great-grandmother of Patrick Lee, Austin Weaver and Elizabeth Hancox; mother-in-law of Andrew Morehouse; sister of Ruth Darrow. Funeral services Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to St. Margaret Mary's Church, Albany at 9:00 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment St. Agnes Mausoleum.
