Mary Rita Cleary of Quincy died on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at the Quincy Rehabilitation Center. She was 69 years of age. Beloved daughter of the late Leo and Helen Cleary. Loving sister of John and Sherry Cleary of Whitman, Robert and Kathy of Pocasset and Daniel J. Cleary of So. Weymouth. Loving aunt of Johnny, Jennifer, Bobby, Danielle, Val, Joey, Erin, Carrie and Erin G. Great friend to Katie Murphy of Stoughton, Mary Shagru of Quincy and many others. Mary had lived most of her life in Quincy. She was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School and was with the Sisters of St. Joseph until 1967. Mary had worked in the Personnel Dept. of the Mass. DPW where she was retired after 21 years. She had also worked at the Mug & Muffin Restaurant in Wollaston. Her interest included baking, bingo, ceramics and most especially family. Funeral from the East Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, corner Middle and Charles Sts., (at 3 Charles St.) Monday at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in St. Josephs Church 550 Washington St., Quincy at 10:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday afternoon 2:00-6:00 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
