LEOMINSTER -- Mary P. (Baldwin) Letarte, 76, of 338 Mechanic St., died Sunday, Oct. 5, in her home. She was born on Feb. 2, 1927, in Leominster, the daughter of Barney and Maude (Mitchell) Baldwin. Mrs. Letarte worked as a machine operator at Mohawk Wire and Cable retiring 14 years ago in 1989. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Leominster Senior Citizens, and the Wednesday Bingo Club. Mrs. Letarte is survived by one son, Robert Letarte of Holyoke; one brother, Herbert Baldwin of Wildwood, Fla.; two sisters, Alice Brown and Ruth Beaudoin, both of Leominster. Her husband, Louis E. Letarte predeceased her in 1996. LETARTE -- On Oct. 5, Mary P. (Baldwin) Letarte, 76, of Leominster. The funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. in the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Care Worcester VNA, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608-1280.
