Henderson, died Monday, February 3, 2014 at her residence.Born on March 1, 1924 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late J. Leonard and Florence Tolbert Nobles.She was an active member of Central United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School class, a member of the Newberry Literary Club, the Newberry Music Club and the Newberry Study Club. Mrs. Henderson is survived by two sons and their spouses, Dr. James Warren Henderson, Jr. (Mary Gayle) retired dentist, Lancaster, S.C. and L. Thomas Henderson (Roberta), forestry consultant, Newberry, S.C.; daughter-in law, Kendyl Griffith of Newberry, S.C.; grandchildren and spouses, L. T. Henderson, Jr. (Brandon), of Knoxville, TN, Dr. Holly H. Geiger (Douglas) of Lancaster, Ren Henderson of Newberry, and Lane H. Joiner (Brad) of Newberry; and great grandchildren, Ethan and Lana Geiger and Sylvie Pearl Henderson.In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son John Michael Henderson; sisters, Mozelle Nobles and Martha "Mot" Folk; brothers, J. Ray Nobles, Sr., Garner Nobles and James Nobles. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Central United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Karen Radcliffe and the Rev. Mitchell Houston. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home, 1704 College St., Newberry, SC.Pallbearers will be Hayne Folk, Wayne Folk, David Folk, Dr. John Nobles, Gary Nobles and Greg Korschgen.Memorials are suggested to Central United Methodist Church Window Fund, P.O.
