Dr. Mary Nixon passed away suddenly but peacefully on May 29, 2008. She leaves behind a legacy of teaching that spans three continents, five decades and thousands of students. She is mourned by her husband of 51 years, Donald, her son, Mark and the legion of colleagues and friends who have had the joy and privilege of sharing her enthusiasms and passions over the years. She will be remembered always for her selfless compassion and her loving kindness. The family wishes to thank everyone for the comfort and support they have provided during these difficult days. Funeral Service will be held at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 3:00 pm with a reception to follow in the McCall's Family Centre.
