Mary Neal "Bay" Bryant, 94, Sarasota, died June 4, 2003. She was born Sept. 25, 1908, in Newberry and came to Sarasota from Clearwater. She was a culinary assistant and a member of Springblossom Temple 360, Elks of Emma V. Kelly Council, District 6, and St. John Primitive Baptist Church, Clearwater. Survivors include daughters Mildred Houston of Detroit and Dorothye Smith of Sarasota; a son, Spencer of Clearwater; and a grandchild. A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Primitive Baptist Church. Young's Funeral Home, Inc., Clearwater, is in charge.
