-> Mary "Grace" Murphy, 78, longtime native of Wilmington Island, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in Richmond Hill. Born in Swainsboro, GA., she lived on Wilmington Island for most of her life. She was a communicant of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, and was known for her Christmas Decorations. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton J. Murphy. She is survived by five daughters, Barbara Iler; Judy Graham; Dell Smith, all of Savannah; Vesta Welch, of Midway, GA; Mary Lombardi, of Roswell, GA; two sons, Patrick Murphy, of Richmond Hill; Michael Murphy, of Savannah; one brother; four sisters; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8pm Wednesday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 1pm Thursday, December 22, 2005 in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, with Fr. Joe Smith officiating.
