Moore, Mary LATHAM Mary Whitley Moore, 91, formerly of Latham, died Saturday, December 2, 2006, at Guilderland Center Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the widow of John Whitley Jr. and Nelson J. Moore. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Lohre. A graduate of St. Patrick's School and Vincentian Institute in Albany, she resided in the Albany and Glenmont area until moving to Latham in 1971. Mrs. Moore was a leasing bookkeeper at Armory Garage, Albany for 13 years retiring in 1985. She previously worked for the former New York Telephone Company for 10 years. A communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Latham, she was a Eucharistic minister and member of its altar rosary society. She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Raymond) Schauman of Troy; her son, Paul J. (Patricia) Whitley of Rotterdam; four grandchildren, Brian (Karie) Whitley, Amy (Andrew) Wright, Craig (Ann Marie) Schauman and John Schauman; three great -grandchildren, Andrew Schauman, Alexis Wright and Andrew Wright Jr.; one nephew, three nieces and one cousin. She was predeceased by her siblings, Elizabeth Ruff, Harry and John "Jack" Lohre. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Latham, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends are invited and may call Monday 4-7 p.m. at the Bowen Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
