MILLER - Mary "Mae" (nee Spieker) of River Edge passed away on September 20, 2005. Mae was born in Hoboken in 1911 and met her late husband William E. Miller and married. Mae and Bill moved to River Edge joined the First Congregational Church in 1940 where they became life-long members and went on to share over fifty years together. Mae was blessed with lasting friendships of her ladies' circle group. She took pride in caring for her husband, her home, hosting family gatherings, traveling to visit her nieces and nephews, her church community, and her bridge group. Mae is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families: Mary Beth Nevins, Jean Harding, Barbara Nevins-Soong, Robert Nevings Jr., Peter Nevins and William F. Miller. Her life was a testament of the compassion, goodness and beauty of a circle of family, friends, church, and community. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 3 PM at the First Congregational Church in River Edge. In lieu of floral tributes, donations in Mae's memory are requested to the Memorial Fund at The First Congregational Church. Arrangements are through the Beaugard Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.
