Mary Lois Miller, 78, wife of Robert Miller, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at her residence.She was the daughter of the late Isabelle and Rodulphus Smith and was a member of the Word of Life Ministries International.Surviving are her four sons, Gator Johns and his wife Kim, Ronald Johns, Steve Johns and his wife Elizabeth and Kevin Johns, and one daughter, Connie Shallet. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn and Marilyn, and a brother, Raymond. Lois kept active with her 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Lois had many caring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Lamarr Lee Johns Sr., and three brothers, Curtis, Wesley and Ronnie.The family will receive friends at Cannon Jones Funeral Home, 603 West Curtis St., Simpsonville, on Wednesday October 15, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Word of Life Ministries, 1027 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, at 10 a.m.Interment to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
