Mary Ann Miller, 70, passed away Friday morning, April 21, 2006, at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rosa Lee Lyda of Lanford, S.C.Mrs. Miller lived in New Ellenton, S.C., for 40 years before retiring and moving with her husband to Hickory Tavern, S.C. in 1988.In addition to her parents, Ms. Miller was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Jack Miller.Mrs. Miller is survived by three children and their spouses, Debbie (Billy) Epling of Aiken, Sharon (Clifford) Strength of Hickory Tavern, and Ricky (Velvet) Miller of Windsor; six grandchildren, Connie Strength of Concord, N.C., Matthew Strength of Rock Hill, S.C., Eric (Bonnie) Miller of Sumter, S.C., Mindy Miller of Windsor, and Brad and Beth Epling of Aiken; one great-grandchild, Kelleigh Miller of Sumter; a brother and his wife, Sammy (Sandra) Lyda of Gray Court, S.C.; and a brother-in-law, George Miller of Hickory Tavern. Visitation will be at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home in Aiken today, April 22, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at Kennedy Mortuary in Laurens, S.C. on Sunday, April 23, from 4 to 5 p.m. Services will be in the chapel at Kennedy Mortuary on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at 5 p.m., with interment at Westview Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the home of her daughter Debbie at 1792 Citation Dr., Aiken, on Friday and Saturday; and at the home of her daughter, Sharon in Hickory Tavern on Sunday.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O.
