WALTON, Mary McGraw Veronica (nee Casey)1918 - 2007 - Mary Walton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 22, 2007; in her 89th year. Mary was born in Larkhall, Scotland on July 15, 1918 and at the age of nine, moved to Canada with her parents and five brothers. She grew up in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Mary was the beloved and cherished Mother of Sheila Carruthers (Larry), Mary Kay Walton (Bev Nelson) and Michael and Robert Walton. Treasured Grandmother of Terri, David, Paul, Connie, Michelle, Jennifer, Stacy and Robbie. Great Grandmother to Ryan, Taylor, Lucas, Nicole, Jade, Tiffany, Brittney and Cameron. Mary was pre-deceased by her husband Bob Walton in 1992, her parents Sara and Harry Casey, her brothers Harry, Dan, Jim, Bill and Peter. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nursing staff of C4 for their dedication and care the last number of weeks. Mary will forever be remembered as a devoted wife and mother and a special grandmother. Thank you Mom for all your love and devotion. Your life was full and now we say good-bye. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia. There will be visitation on Sunday, June 24th from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia on Monday, June 25th at 2 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held in the Parlour Sunday evening at 6:45 p.m. Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery.
