Mary Marguerite Stewart April 04, 1917 - December 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Avalon & Surrey Funeral Home STEWART, Mary "Marguerite", unexpectedly, yet peacefully passed away December 14, 2005 at Surrey Memorial Hospital while recovering from a fall. Born April 4, 1917 in Milden, Saskatchewan, she was the daughter of the late Rev. John Thomas and Edna Jane Stephens. Predeceased by her husband Alex, son Roddy, brother Ted and his wife Maartje, and many beloved pets. Survived by her son Jack and wife Brenda, daughters, Noreen, Bonnie and husband Brian and grandchildren, Tim, Ian, Nicole, Cassidy and Stewart. "Baba" cherished every friendship she made at TOPS, swimming, bowling, BW, Legion #209 and CGIT. She was a past Bethel Guardian of Bethel 23 and avid supporter of Bethel 37. Her friends are too many to name, but to her were each a flower in her grand garden of life. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, December 20, 2005, viewing one hour prior at Avalon Surrey Funeral Home, 13288-108 Avenue, Surrey, BC.
