Mary Margaret Schroeder 1945 - 2011 NORTH CHESTER Mary Margaret Schroeder, 66, died on November 28, 2011 at Country Estates in Agawam. Born in New Orleans, LA on October 27, 1945 to John and Lillian (Voorhies) Schroeder, she was a graduate of the University of Florida and Western New England College of Law. She had worked as an attorney for Monarch Life Insurance Company where she was Vice-President and Chief Claim Counsel. She was a strong defender of animal rights and will be especially remembered for her ceaseless advocacy on behalf of shelter animals. Predeceased by her parents and her sister, Jacqueline Westmoreland, she leaves her husband, Robert Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
