MILLER, Mary Jane (nee Trottier) August 13, 1915 - June 9, 2013Mary slipped away peacefully on June 9, 2013, two months shy of her 98th birthday. Mary, ninth generation French Canadian, is predeceased by her eldest daughter, Betty Doddridge, in 1997; brother Henry Trottier, in 1985 and sister, Helen Hogg, in 1997. Mary is survived by her only son, Bobbie (June), of Wainwright and youngest daughter, Marilyn, of Calgary; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. Born in Edmonton, Mary and her two siblings were raised by their father, Fred Trottier, on a homestead at Dowling Lake - their mother, Jennie Louta, from Finland died when they were youngsters. Mary married George Miller and lived in Hanna until her move to Calgary in 1966. Mary was a shy lady who loved nature and kept her sense of humor up to her fourth last day.
