Mary M. Age 88, of Monterey, NY, died Friday, June 25th, at the Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Mary was born January 18, 1916 in Nanticoke, PA, to the late Joseph and Mary Sadowski. She is survived by her sons, Albert (Lillian) Slatky of South Plainfield, NJ, and John "Jack" Rogers, Jr. of Watkins Glen; her daughter, Sharon (Ben) Laughlin of Watkins Glen; grandchildren, Larry (Robin) Slatky of NJ, Richard (Cathy) Slatky of NJ, David (Jacque) Slatky of NJ, Heather Laughlin of Watkins Glen, and Jill Laughlin of Millport, NY; nine great-grandchildren; her dog, GiGi; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Rogers, in 1975; and brother, Joseph Sadowski, Jr. Friends may call at the Haughey-Wood Funeral Home, 119 Fifth St., Watkins Glen on Monday, June 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services for Mary will be held on Tuesday, June 29, at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with Catholic Chaplin Sal Primerano officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Watkins Glen. Memorials in Mary's name may be made to the ARC of Schuyler County, 203 12th St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891.
